Landscape / Hardscape Foreman

Overview: Since 2003, Rose Landscape Services has provided beautiful, quality landscaping services to commercial and residential properties throughout the Grand Rapids, MI area. Our landscape projects include the installation of elements such as outdoor kitchens, custom patios, and much more. 

Our team is currently seeking a landscape foreman with 2-5 years of experience. Foremen must be detail-oriented, dependable, and match our other qualifications and be able to fulfill all job duties, such as:

• Installation of all softscape and hardscape materials
• General landscaping tasks
• Monitor for any quality assurance issues
• Coordinate and schedule delivery of landscape materials/equipment
• Work with any potential subcontractors
• Complete jobs within the guidelines of OSHA compliance standards
• Manage any conflicts with landscape crew members
• CDL is recommended, but not required—training available

Other skills required for this position include:

• Ability to manage employees
• Ability to prioritize and manage time productively
• Ability to communicate via writing and verbally
• Ability to read and decipher blueprints or landscape designs
• Able to work outside 8-10 hours a day
• Able to operate and use various types of power tools and landscape construction equipment

Landscape foremen must also have reliable transportation to and from work, be authorized to work in the United States, and be able to lift 80+ lbs repeatedly. We also ask that our employees maintain a clean-cut and professional appearance.
